Default Brain Injury sites..

I did not know these places exsisted until the man came to fix my handicap scooter. He has brain injury himself...so bad he had to learn to walk and talk all over again. We have a brain injury group right here in my town in GA and there are others in others states.

Brain Injury Resource Foundation & Brain Injury Association of America, BIAA. I don't know how to put the www for them, google will bring them up. actualy it is the same place. They have lots of info and I want to be sure to share with all! Gaye

Thank you so much....I went to the site you suggested above. The article I read "I wanted my brain back" is so me!!!

I'm forwarding the article to my neurologist, as I don't think he 'gets it' at all.

Thank you again.

Melek

from Melek again...

I just realized you live in Georgia. I do too! If you don't mind me asking, are you in the Metro Atlanta area? I have just moved from Virginia Highlands/Little 5 Points area to Smyrna....due to the drive to work. I work around the Galleria and the drive from my favorite part of town, got to be too stressful for me. I now live less than 2 miles from work, which is good for me and work....but not a lot to do out here.

HI Melek, sorrry I just today saw this post and saw where you are from Smyna, Ga. a bit earlier, searching for some of my former posts.

I was touched by Copper's poem tonight and cried. It sure describes what I feel. Made me want to look up some of my posts from the beginning of my PCS.

I live in Athens Georgia, actually I am in a little town called Winterville. It is just a few miles away from Athens. Was raised in Atlanta and moved here 43 years ago, due to hubby's job moving here. Raised all my 4 kids and now have 13 grands and 1 great grand.
Sorry probably too much info. LOL

Have a great NEW YEAR! Gaye known as froggie in the weight forum
