Default St. John's Wort Tablets - Depression - works for me!

Just have to mention that I started taking these tablets in September 2007... and they have improved my mood by about 30-40% or so. Amazing stuff.
I no longer fall into deep depression - at ALL. It 'steadys' my mood very well.

I really recommend trying this alternative medicine if you're having depression issues. They are available over the counter in some countries but talk to your doctor first of course.

I take 300mg pure extract capsules. 1 a day.

Oh, and I have ZERO side-effects!

Gerbil.

I'm trying St. John's wort for Tourette syndrome/obsessive compulsive behaviour and on the bottle it says take one capsule three times daily, each capsule being 300mg. Do you think this 900mg per day would be too much?

hi again Greyhound

it depends on the % hypericin in them

if you are also taking the INositol, you may want to start out at one a day and work up if you need to 2 and then 3 if needed. my son always found minimal dose seemed to work well for him with the OCD/depression supps
