am i the only one that has vision problems after a head trauma because i dont hear to many people talking about it. my concentration and ability to think has gotten better but my vision is messed up everything around me looks darker then usual and when im outside in a sunny area things still look darker then usual and i cant seem to focus my eyes everything just looks so dizzy looking and cloudy around me today i feel connected to were im at so i started thinking maybe its not depersonalization but a vision problem. also my eyes are more sensitive when i go outside in a sunny day. and when im outside at nightime i cant see nothing and i cant recognize nothing surrounding me.
i need serious help please tell me im not the only one does anyone know if these symptoms will go away? if i can just get my vision back to normal i feel like i can live a normal life again |

I tooo have the vision problems, also a feeling of im not quite grasping or my brain isnt processing what im seeing. Its really annoying.. the darkness thing you speak of I dont really have but I do recall about a week that I couldnt tell what time of the day it was if my life depended on it. MY internal clock completely shut down
So far ive been getting laser therapy on my brain and on one of my acupuncture points. some days I feel better, then I feel worse..... sometimes I feel not bad but my moods horrible, other days I am in a great mood but feel like a bag of garbage... |

I haven't posted for a while, but I have vision problems too. PCS 2 1/2 years. Not darkness, but blurry or double vision. I have 20/20 vision but periodically at least once a day, but sometimes for long periods, I have intense blurry vision. Driving is near impossible, but sometimes it happens when I'm driving. Often it leads to nausea/motion sickness/throwing up. The frequency hasn't really changed, but I am better at dealing with it (I focus on something close, or run with a partner so I don't get hit crossing streets, manage to deal with the nausea). I remember reading another post by someone who had the same thing and was sent to an optomitrist for glasses - like that would help!

Hi all, I have some issues with things that make my eyes do odd things.
I can't walk in the dark, and I can't move with out hitting things. Or I couldn't. I have been through what is called retraining my brain to do these things. But its not been complete for me. Because I had other things happen that I needed to work through too. But what I would suggest is to find a good neurologist that checks into things for dizziness, light problems, feeling weird, and any other oddities. They are speciality doctors in neurology. So please look for the right one. Its called a Neurologist and Opthmaologist together. Donna |
