Default HI, I have PCS, and am a old poster, but have been real sick and missing for a while.

I wanted to welcome all the new posters. And to also let all the old posters know I have deserted them. I've been having lots of health issues from
things not connected to PCS, and haven't been able to visit this room.

Its very hard to come and talk about this when other things are more prominent. They still are to a degree, but they are now waiting on more
testing. I'm looking at hypertension, and waiting on a left and right catherization. So its going to be the final of lots of testing.

Anyway, I have found something that is doing lots of good for my PCS,
and also my fibromyalgia. And when I have issues of falling, or say
neck pain, shoulder, or any other thing like that.

I have found that massage therapy is very helpful for the problems that
these things have created. It also takes care of the stress and the
very tight muscles. I have also had much relief from migraines too.

I also have a bulge in my neck, were I've had 4 neck procedures, but
I can say they have helped, but I'm in line for a probable burning
of the nerves, that will have to be repeated. But I'm not sure that
thanks to this massage therapy, if its done I'll have to have it repeated.

Its turning out to be a godsend, because we with PCS learn to live
with some pain, and with other issues.

So if you need relief find a great massage therapist, and give it a try.
Its one of the cheapist therapies you will have.

Default another 'old' poster...

like Donna, I've not been involved in Forums due to other problems (will post separetely--if i can get it together-- TBI/PCS issues are back in prominence)

for now just wanted to jump in and try to get re-involved

Donna, so sorry you're going thru so much.
hope these other issues will be resolved or at least controlled...
good to hear massage therapy is helping you.
I found it beneficial after
I was Dx'd w/ Fibro & other chronic pain after i was hit by car --my 1st TBI --13 years ago.
I too fall often since that accident.
which has resulted in more injury , and pain, and problems

Do you know or been told possible reasons for your falling??

take care...
