Hi Vini
I've been having problems since a concussion I sustained in March. I'm also in the SE in the UK. Feel free to get in touch if you want to. The doctors have been less than helpful in aiding my recovery, simply telling me that I have no neurological damage so I should be fine but I suffer mild depersonalisation, poor concentration, lower than usual energy levels and I can just tell I'm not right. People don't understand cos I seem fine, but I go outside and walk round shops or try doing something complicated and everything gets foggy and I feel like I'm dreaming. I'm a HUGE amount better than I was a few months ago when I could barely leave the house for a few minutes but I'm starting to worry that this is just how it's gonna be from now on. Most of the professionals I've seen believe that my problems eminate from my own anxiety which is something I have suffered with mildly before and that the trauma triggered a nervous breakdown. I hope that is the case as then I can expect to fully recover one day. Sorry I'm blabbering on!

Default leaning curve

hello Benjamin I,m on a bit of a learning curve my self, sorry to here this has happened to you as well. I had to get my lawyer to write to my GP to get him to refer me to a neurologist, and I,ve got plates in my head, and my GP thinks it depression, so I can understand what you are going through, all I can say is, and I,m sure you have heard it before is that its going to take time, I am just coming to terms with this myself doctors seem to want to go for the easy answers. I get similar feelings to you they will probably say its due to PDSD and I was assaulted so it maybe true to some extent in my case but I stress every one is different you say you are feeling a lot better now than you did so that's positive have you herd of headway here in the UK they have outreach workers and have help me It seems that the healing process with the brain is so slow that we some times don't notice the changes or improvements so keep in touch mate any time

sorry to hear about your injuries fellas. I too am from the UK (North). I was wondering if you were doing any exercises to rehabilitate you? My problems are purely mental and I am trying to build up my abilities using brain training exercises, but I am not sure if they are working. Still, can't do any harm.
