Thank you so much for posting this...I also will be printing this for my family. My neuro has been very straight foward with me about my recovery, it won't be a total recovery.

Unfortunately, my family keeps expecting a complete recovery even after he's explained the extent of the brain injury. I think this will help them greatly in understanding.

There's no magic treatment or med that's going to fix this completely. It's about learning to live, function to the best of my ability and get on with living with a brain injury.

The expectations of a full recovery makes me feel like a failure when I can't meet them and stresses me out. I do believe you've got the essence of living with a TBI accurate.
