I wanted to ask if anyone gained anything from going to an Ears/Nose/Throat specialist? I have had vestibular treatments which helped but I still get pretty bad symptoms when travelling in a moving vehicle of any kind (even the bus!). And often my ears/sinuses actually hurt during headaches. I am very sensitive to loud noise too.

When we hit our heads, is it common for fluid or air to get trapped in the middle ear somewhere causing problems?

idk but ii too have the samthing
like my hears feel cloudy all the time and everything seems lower then usual im not really that sensivitive to sound though but things just seem cloudier like when you in a airplane and everything you hear sounds lower

i dont know what it is but i know the symptom. mines only in my left ear. its not constant but only when i do something to trigger symptoms like jerk of jar my head in some way. i have no clue what it is..

That muffled sound quality is often a symptom of dp/dr. You don't filter background noise properly and things lack sparkle.

I still have constant headaches and ringing in both ears. The foggines has never left and I am still having tons of muscle therapy as the tight shoulder, neck and back injury from the fall has left me with extreme knots that are what presses on the nerves and causes the pain. Someday I hope to wake up and not feel my head and the sound of the ringing ears. Everything gets worse as the day progresses. I have continued to work since the accident. By the way Marg I fell in Ontario Canada, out running and fell and landed on the side of my head. I was knocked out and had a lot of face damage. That has gone but nothing much else. Gosh, to feel normal again. Does anyone remember the days when you didn't notice your head or the fullness and heaviness of it. I have had my headach for 3 months. I will celebrate with a trip whenver this leaves. Marg if you want to we can email. I have read your post and I think with the family issues and husbands taking on all the work, and making it through the work day, we might have some info that the other may help. Let me know. I also had a lot of problems with loud noise and didn't even go to church for a long time because the organ was too loud. It took about six month to get better. Anxiety lasted a few weeks - I had a hard time riding in cars - felt like other cars where coming at me and everything was moving too fast. When out walking, I felt like I had to slow down and wait for my brain to catch up - that lasted well into last fall. I guess it wasn't really until I took Elavil that I started to feel more normal and it helped control my headaches a lot. I have been going to the chiropractor for about six weeks now and it has helped my head. I get electro-stimmulation and ultrasound treatments of my upper back, neck and shoulders to loosen up tight muscles. Had a lot of stress this week and I can feel the muscles around my head tighten up. I have to fly to Germany tomorrow and hope the long trip will be okay. I will let you all know how it went when I get back in three weeks.
