It is amazing how much better women do when they can get a good view of what your feet are doing. I taught two daughters to drive sticks this way. I also only do this in a large empty parking lot so they are not confused by other traffic."

Just reading older posts/threads on the forum and this one gave me a good chuckle and a very happy recollection/memory of my dearly remembered Dad teaching me to drive stickshift -- and very successfully mind you -- back in the later 1960s. {{{ Happy smile.}}}
