My sister suffered an anuerysm, 3 years ago. She has a drinking problem, suffers from depression, and short term memory problems. She also throws up after eating frequently. I though some of these sypmtoms were from the drinking, but they seem to persist afte almost a month sober.
She does not take care of her basic bodily functions such as showering. I am not sure what to do. I have tried to suggest things, but she either becomes defensive or withdrawn. Please help me reach her. She is leaving to go over seas soon, and I'm afraid for her. Carol |

First I think you will find more help in the bipolar room. Its more active.
And I believe that you can get some ideas. We are a group that is willing to try and help when we can. I'm Donna, and I suffer from PCS, but I find more in bipolar that can relate and help me. I'm honestly not sure why your sister is throwing up, but the other things sound so much like the depression. That I would definately just keep working on that. Donna |
