Default sleep and TN

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I was just wondering how many people do not have TN symtoms while they are sleeping. I know mine go away and allow me to sleep. I have only been woke up once. They do give me about 30 minutes in the morning before they take over, when active that is. Isn't there some way doctors can figure out how our body puts our nerves to sleep and go on that path. Why does'nt it bother my arm or hand to in a sense fall asleep, while I am sleeping, yet if I am awake and cut off circulation to those parts, it pins and needles. I know even under the heavy duty drugs, it's hard to fall asleep during the day, I am just groggy. Anyway, just a question I had. Jen

Well it looks like contary to others and only speaking for myself. I do get waken up from face pain durring sleep. it is always because most usualy I have been asleep on the wrong side of my face or my pillow or bed or arm is touching my face/ resting on it ...whatever. the side that has my leads my right side... but I get to sleep again if it is bad I turn on my neuro stim . sleeping I had to relearn most of the time it is alone in my happy chair .
Keep in mind I got my a dolorosa from an auto accident and I have 3 plates (one of which is too close to where my nerve is snapped )on lower jaw and also a neuro stim on right side ..my face has had enough up close contact .. I guess ya could say.
