Default my mother

my mom said that she might have neuropathy. I went to my medical dictionary and read about degenerative nerves. That sounds awful. I am worried about her.

I interpret Neuropathy to mean "nerve pain and/or damage" , where is your mom's pain? I assume its head and facial pain, or you wouldn't be posting here. A neuropathy is certainly painful, and the cause should be found, if only to make sure nothing more severe is going on. Though many times its something that just seems to happen. I have two friends who have a neuropathy in the foot. When the pain gets real bad they go in and get a cortisone shot, which eases the pain for some months. Can't do that with all neuropathies though.

Has your mom been to a dr? A Neuro? Any MRIs or other tests?

Sorry your mom is hurting. Your a good child to watch out for her wellbeing.
