Default Will it get bad?

Honestly, is this mild pain (that is increasing in frequency and intensity since it started 3 months ago) going to be excruciating one day? I am on 300mg of Lamictal, and just starting Neurontin. Am I doomed to a life of uncertainty, never knowing when some awful pain will strike? What is the honest answer?

Do not panic. there are many people that live with Tn and have very normal lives and only have occasional or very little problems. Some don't even have to take regular meds. others are treated and keep their Tn under control with the TN meds and are not bothered by side effects.
TN is a very individual disease and seems to affect everyone differently and we also seem to respond differently to the meds.
Please keep in mind that most people that are regularly on these threads are probably the worst cases.
You are doing the right thing by reading, learning and asking questions. but don't panic. try to take each day as it comes, keep a positive outlook and be grateful for all of your good days. I have found that worry and stress makes everything worse.
I am sorry you are dealing with this, but keep your head up.
