My main problem was ... does it still sound like TN or ATN?
Hi everyone...so it's beens 3 months of treatment now...and i still feel the same...arrgghh.. basically 2 months of treatment with my GP - which was pretty much useless.. with my neuro a good 1 month on Topomax 50mg (which is still low dose) and Vicodin for pain..I know it may not be at the therapeutic level yet, but we'll see what he says... I have an appt with my neuro on the 7th of January and see how that goes. I still feel the same. Now i know my triggers: - Cold air/wind to my left cheek - warm food/liquid to my left side of my teeth upper/lower - I always get an attack every night (some time between 9pm-12pm) My symptoms for 3 years now (on and off): - Dull, Pressure, strong, ache - Location: Upper and lower left side teeth, jaw, sometimes sinus, sometimes cheeks - sometimes, electric shocks and pulses (but not spasms and not severe) - tingling sensations - lasts about 20-40 minutes My main problem was ... does it still sound like TN or ATN? |
