Default Need some serious advice

I had my first tn attack in March 2009. I was having 10-15 attacks a day. The attacks lasted from 5 mins to 30 mins. I had gamma knife surgery in June 2009 and and in that entire month I only had 8 attacks and 4 of them very so minor that I could talk to my son thru out the attack. One month later, I had an auto accident ( rear ended ) and the attacks came back right a way and worse than before. I had MVD this week and the attacks are gone. That is great but I have that tingling, burning, numb/pain really bad. It feels like a million bees are on my face biting me all day and night. So............long story. Do you think the auto accident made the tn worse?
What is this numb/pain stuff on entire right side of face and tongue.

Thank you so much for your help and posting an answer back to me.
