What else is wrong with us? I can only speak for myself, of course, but the only thing wrong with me is MS, which as far as any Dr. can tell all my TN pain is caused by the MS. I'm also in the midst of menopause, but I think I'm pretty "normal" otherwise.

Thumbs up

WELL...... i'm trying to figure out why i've got TN,

I've got this idea that my IIH could have something to do with it as the trigeminal nerve starts way up there in the good old brain, so figured if the pressures high in there and squeezing my brain, surely it's possibly for this nerve to be being squeezed or lent on too right!?

I'm due to see my GP in a couple of weeks for a review on my Gabapentin tablets anyway so i will ask him but i just wondered, as i've figured everything else out myself!. I found the IIH by going to the optician for an eye test which discovered the flammation of the optic nerves, which got me sent for an MRI which found the IIH which saved my eye sight and my life!!

I would think there could be a link with T.N. and your IIH . The pressure would , could ... affect the Trig nerve I would think but I am not a Dcotor or professional.
As far as me... I got mine from accident and have knee back and neck issues but nothing that bad . my head injury from accident the worst of all the others. oh yeah like Catch .. BMW getting into menopause sota kinda. . .oh the joy .
have you been to our O.N. room here

Default The perfect end of the day???

I have restless leg syndrome, acid reflux disease, anesthesia delorosa, the hospital shared their MRSA with me when I was in there two weeks for a major surgery. I also brought influenza B.home with me. I fell and broke my pelvis and had a real severe siatic attack. One leg became shorter than the other so I now have a cane. I'm losing my hair,I got fat and I lost my teeth. I get pneumonia on a regular bases. I slammed the car door with my hand in it and the pain was 10
on the scale. We didn't put the night light out and as it was pitch black in the house, I fell over one of the dogs. He then
Bit me. So anyway have a good day.........Doodle bug7
