I just HAD to mention:

I don't even have a CLUE how to 'knit' !!
...(i swear i have NOT been drinking!)

I just 'had' to clarify this! WHY? So the credit can go where the credit is DUE!! To our Good Lord and Saviour !! Whom we've all been linked together as one united in Faith!!

".....see, it's things like this which wake me up in a startled panic in the middle of the nite thinking "Oh Dear! What if someone reading would actually think there is some magical special powers in 'knitting' !"

Yes, AMEN, Cheryl..... we most certainly are united in FAITH
Please stay strong

Cheryl . I am praying you get your block again by wen or Thur the latest . I know from our talking the pain is horrid and it is wearing you out. Just hold in there for a bit longer and grab on to the knowing of how much the trial helped combat the pain.
Busy Bee or B.B. I like the sound of that one you came up with. for sure keep that in the top 2 .
some interesting chat on T-Rex... her long lost cousin has been discovered

check out this link

all gone now but T-rex and dinosaurs left fossils and clues behind ..just like I hope some of our posts and info here will do in the future.
T-Rex and P.J. ... and soon to be maybe named BB
to infinity and beyond
PEACE

Tongue going to bed

Stopped in to say hi and good night. It has been a painful day and going getting worse. I have taken all the meds that I am allowed to take and a couple more and still want to climb under my bed and not come out until Aug.5th. But.....I will and try and start tomorrow off better than today.
Talk to all of you later.
Love to all
Cheryl and BB ( BB is still sitting on the shelf somewhere. I wonder if anyone told him the reason why he was made and will be going to work soon ) Hope so. What a surprise if he did not know and then all of a sudden....from a shelf to some old ladies chest!!

Unhappy One Month....

I would try my hand at writing a poem, but it's 3:30 in the morning and I'd certainly make a fool of myself trying......so I'll just give you a gentle little (((hug)))
I know it must seem an eternity, but one month will pass! We'll all team up and help you stay strong....we are a team.....

I'd have gone completely nuts by now if I hadn't had stumbled upon this forum back in November.....
Your day is coming, Cheryl.......it WILL arrive.......

Default Praying for you, Cheryl

Asking all of our group to offer thoughts and prayers on behalf of Cheryl aka Calewark! These days of waiting, complicated by several difficulties such as trying to get an intermediate spinal block performed in the meantime, have been VERY trying for her. Our friend needs our prayers,

May we all take moments throughout each day, pausing to pray for and reflect upon the needs of others in dire pain situations,

ASAP,

Mark56 P.J.

Shocked Poem/letter

It is 3 am in the morning and the pain now has me up and searching through my medication bag to see what I have not taken tonight for pain. So, i thought I will try an " off the top of my head" poem/
letter to entertain myself.

Oh Stimulator, Oh Stimulator
Where are you now?
Doc called and gave me your "big day" date
I was excited, where you?
Aren't you tired for that cold shelf in the warehouse?
That you are sitting on?
I have a name for you, did they tell you?
Your name now is ANS and some numbers
I thought you would like a change and more personal
I would like to come visit you before the big day
I am afraid that I will not be able to see you at all
Your new home will be with me while I am asleep
And you will be awake while the rep turns you on and off
Then they will cover your new home with a layer of fat and skin
I am afraid
Not of the surgery
If I came to visit you, I am afraid that you might contact the company
You might say " oh dear, this lady is old, can't you find some cool chick
I really would like a larger, plumber boob to rest my head on"
Sorry about that, but I will make you a promise
I will take care of you, keep you healthy
You don't need an infection
I could show you off with a low cut shirt
Or if you are shy, I will put a scarf around you
I am just anxious for you and I to meet
Oh, stimulator Oh, stimulator
Do you mind if I call you by your new name?
Busy Bee
With all your talents of buzzing the nerves
And you will be busy doing that all day
I thought you would like it
So Busy Bee
Goodnight for now

Pain does very weird things to us tn people. Needless to say of no sleep.
thanks for all your prayers and thoughts. Talk to you all soon

Cheryl and soon to be busy bee

Default Another Day

Hi Cheryl- Right now I am sending prayers for you that today will be more tolerable and that the nerve block you receive tomorrow will provide enough relief to get you to your Implant Date! Your Date is coming! Soon, you will have the relief BMW knows so well, and here is both hope and prayer that you will restfully approach the time of your implant such that your body will be fully ready for the procedure and that it will be completely successful for you!!

ASAP,:smiley pray:
