My neurologist started me on Trileptal last week. He's calling my problem "atypical facial pain." Now I'm having nausea (even lost my breakfast) and dizziness....In your experience, do these side effects go away soon? I do have to say my face isn't hurting right now, so I don't want to give it up or go on Tegretol.

the side affects usually calm down after a short time. I would give it another week or so . Also tomorrow call let your doctor know what side affects you are having with this med would be the best !! If the symptoms get worse or more frequent for sure call doc and go to ER if it is needed.
I hope things calm down for you soon. sending healing vibs to you. PEACE BMW |
