Here are my comments about drivers license. My 2 grandsons, both of which I raised, one is 21 the other 17 went through the drivers education. It is a part of the high school curriculum in Illinois. They can start drivers ed at 15. They get a learners permit then. If they make a B or better then they don't have to take the written test. At 16 if their birth dates fall just right and they have passed all the requirements during drivers ed they don't have to take the behind the wheel test. The older grandson didn't have to take the tests at the license office. The younger one has learning problems so he had to take the behind the wheel test. The students also are required to have so many hours of driving time with their parents. That number has risen since my grandsons went through it. They have to take drivers ed to get their license at 16 or to get a permit.

Some of my pain is returning. I hope it doesn't get any worse. I have a nasty feeling that it will.

I took drivers ed in school too but this area of florida .. they dont offer it . they do have places to go for it tho so thats the game plan. she dose drive with my or hub and is good. if you get pulled over and you have a permit you have to wait longer till you can get your real lie. I think they should just make the age 18. and bring back the helmet law and make loud alarms for child car seats so no baby is forgotten... that happens here .
Back to busy stormy night here in fla... hope everyone out there has their floats tyed down ! Alabama is already in my prayers.
Peace and clam weather.
