Post Question: Workplace pain management

I am looking for any information available to help with workplace pain management issues...?

I was recently diagnosed with Facial Nerve CN7 compression by the Petrosal Vein. The neurologist has recommended microvascular decompression surgery.

I am looking for helpful workplace pain management tips when dealing with employer while waiting for surgery -AND- returning to work after surgery.

Thanks
