Default neuro visit

Saw neuro on thursday. We both decided to wait on the MVD since my pain was tolerable. Am going to see a new pain doc though and see how that goes. I am also catching a cold so I am kind of upset. Planning on flying on Wed, or thursday, so need to be better by then. Love to all, Jen

sorry to hear things are still up in the air. congrats on the pain doc. mine has done wonders for me. how old are you? my doc told me because of my age 32 that i would be a good candidtae for mvd even though pain meds hold me most of the time. i have had break through pain mostly weekly before the mvd.. not that you and i are the same i just was putting it out there that if you want the mvd younger age can help the recovery be faster.and easier. if the pain doc talks about inj in the face / or radiofrequency ablation theses are very pain full. also you may want to ask about a duragesic patch- it's fentanyl in a 32 hour doseon a patch. i've worn the patch for the last 2 yrs. works great. and kept my pain down to a three- four. but still had a few break throughs but not as bad as with out the patch. shelly
