Default Introduction

Hi y'all...I'm Cat (nickname)
I am recently diagnosed with TN after suffering through 3 months of unrelenting pain that started in my ear. I've had a battery of evaluations and tests from ENT to Head & Neck specialists and am currently awaiting a neurological consult. At present I am on 1200 mg of Neurontin daily.

I look forward to learning more and finding out as much as I can and perhaps meet a few others that might shed some light on how to deal with chronic pain. I've been 'healthy' almost all my life...so this is a new experience.
I look forward to getting to know y'all...

Cat

Hi Cat, welcome to Neurotalk but sorry you have to be here. There are a lot of good people on this forum and a lot of good info. I deal with ear pain as well and my doctors attribute it to TN. I've got the sorry luck to have it on both sides so I get attacks on one or other, but not at the same time so at least there is some grace in that. Anyway, I just wanted to welcome you here. Take care, EE
