Have suffered from TN for over a decade. Tried a mountain of medication, surgeries, neurologist, etc. Recently, referred to May Clinic. After numerous examinations, tests, lab work, etc. told was motor cortex stimulator candidate and would find relief. Few days before surgery, health insurance company advised Clinic that this is considered investigational and would not approved. Any advise to someone would needs relief from the terrible pain. Any idea would be greatly appreciated

My husband drove eight hours, part of it was in a snow storm, to show up at St. Mary's
(Mayo) Emergency door with me laying down in the back. This was a last desperate attempt at getting help for me. If you are admitted through Emergency, I think you can get someone to listen as opposed to the outside looking in. Bless, Doodle bug7 |
