Default gammaknife - yes/no?

Saw the neurologist yesterday and enquired about the gammaknife procedure. He said it wasn't effective (none of his patients who have had this procedure are happy with it) and could not refer us to any clinics or hospitals.

Before I expend additional calories pursuing this course of action (getting 2nd, 3rd opinions), I would really appreciate any/all gamma knife patients sharing their success/non-success results.

Thank you.

I had a GK that was successful for about six months. Then I had a glycerol injection with about the same results, and then a (so far) successful balloon compression in May 2010.

Good luck!

Default gamma knife

Saw a web site that might help. I think it was Anims. Or something similar. It came up with search words of "tarlov cysts, Fiegenbaum, spinal surgery.

Hi Fowki -
Thanks for your reply. It's been the only one. I guess the procedure is not as common as I thought. Appreciate it.
