Default Question About Meds

Hi All

New here and I have a question about medications. Has anyone ever used a combination of Trileptal and Tegretol? I took Tegregol up to 800 mg and the pain returned. I was then switched to Trileptal 1200 mg and now that appears to be allowing some of the pain through again, like the Tegretol did. I was thinking of adding some Tegretol to the Trileptal, but thought I ask around first. The treatment I receive now is primarily from my family doctor and she is great so far. She does want to send me to neurology if the pain returns and I would like to avoid that if possible.

Thanks
Jody
