Default MRI shows compression

My question is: is it normal for there to be small contact from veins with the trigeminal nerve without causing any symptoms? Have been trying to find info on this without any luck. I have bilateral facial numbness/burning and have had MRI which showed small vascular contact with the trigeminal nerve on both sides. No other abnormalities found. However have seen a neurosurgeon and a neurologist since then both of whom said that this finding was not clinically relevant.
