Angry Left side of head is throbbing and tingling

Hey guys, just a quick question: I have had this throbbing tender pain on the left side of my head where the temporal muscle is. I have had brain mri's and mras and Normal of course but this is an external tightness. Nothing seems to help except klonopin, does this mean this headache is Nerve related????

What could this be? I'm 30 years old and have had this for 3 years, the klonopin takes it away but I don't want to take that because withdrawal starts to kick in if I don't up dose. this all started 3 years ago when I had a horrible virus and was throwing up. Ever since Neuro's haven't been able to figure it out what it is, maybe that's because they have bee looking for something brain related when it's in fact external. I have an appointment with Diamond Headache Clinic on the 20th and that is my next step. this thobbing/tingling sensation is with me 24/7.

the best thing is to see a doc or a neuro they will be able to help you find some answers. let us know how your apt goes.

I was on Xanax for a while for anxiety but it didn't help me with my TN pain.

bmw I am sending positive thoughts for your apt tomorrow to go well , for you to get some answers and mostly for relief . I am very curious to hear what the neuro , head ache doc thinks. I am still guessing some type of compression to one of your cranial nerves. Praying for a simple answer and solution .
PEACE
