Default Symptom question

I keep reading that TN feels like electrical shocks but I'm not feeling it like that. Is there some difference in people's symptoms? This comes on quickly but it is more of a throbbing, intense pain that last for 30 seconds to a couple of minutes. It seems to linger in my teeth after the jaw and other facial pain is gone.
