Default ouch on the couch (pain poem)

just venting threw my cold... thought here better then anywhere

OUCH ON THE COUCH Tina-'06
Why do you always grow so big and mean?
When the weather changes to a winter scene
And when the rain comes dripping down
You multiply and without a sound.
The breezes and wind must feed you well
In them your dancing wildly feels like hell.
So now you got me in your grip
With electrical claws you tear and rip
And fill my face with fire waves.
How do you decide who becomes your slaves?
My jaw it dances pogo to painful beat
And my normal-ness sits back seat.
And all the while no one can see
The T.N. monster torturing me.
You’ve taken half my smile away
A half a smile is how ill stay
Part of my face is a droopy sag
My head should be cover with a bag.
Funny all this and you still
Have not over taken my will
One time soon you shall see
Ill force you to leave me be.
Then ill pass the answers along
Ways to keep you where you belong.

ha my coping skill ...write back at it . the t.n. association had a poetry thing last year for people with t.n. to send their stuff but no one would tell me if they were to sell the booklet or give them out. So I did not send any of my t.n. poetry in , pretty sure they charged a fee . at least here it is free to read or not ... your choice without a charge.
Happy you got a laugh and liked it Ellie. makes me glad I posted it. Thanks

I'm not worthy.......

Your gift of expressing yourself in fantastic. They would be fools not to print your poem. There are so many people who can relate and say "Hey, that's me, someone knows how I feel".

I know when I received a booklet on restless leg syndrome I didn't explain the pain and didn't think anyone could relate. When I read all of the testimonies and their explaining the feeling, WOW, someone understood!!!!

Our sense of humor is all we have sometimes, isn't is?
Great poem....................

You do have an awesome talent and from what I've read, probably a heart wrenching story.

Take care of yourself, Ellena
