Default mvd recovery

Hi,
I'm new here as I have been looking for a few answers re: post op mvd @ y was.
My mvd went well. It seems thst I have held onto the r sidef headache. It feels btr if I lie down flat . I have noticed my cheek feels funny. When I touch it. I can feel it. Weird. I also am chewing on the left side. Any advice? I keep thinking that I am still recovering. Thanks so much. Jenn

Hi Jenn,

I didn't understand when your surgery was (not sure what "post op mvd @ y was" means). I think some people do have numbness in the cheek following an mvd. You might read up on Ella's journal about her surgery and search for comments from others here (I think that thread is at the top of this forum). Always a good idea to tell your doctor about the symptoms and see what he thinks. Does headache medication take away that pain? I know I had headaches after my surgery three years ago. I don't think they lasted more than a week. Everyone is different, though. I hope you have had relief from the TN pain!
