You are right.. sad that when I was dx in 2001 with this they never even spoke of it as phantom pain .Maybe that is was because I was going threw trial by jury about accident trying to get fair compensation , or maybe because back then I was near death from the pain and depression .
But Now I am alive and living proff that neuro stim has saved and given me some type of normal life back again. It is true that my lower right nerve got snapped and too that one of the plates is too near where the break is so
I guess that would be like a complaction or side affect from a t.n. surgery...even tho I have had no surgeies for t.n. except my plates and my neuro stim. I think I tagged a thankyou on your post but wanted to MAKE SURE YOU SEE THIS THANKYOU for filling in a blank. or updating me on the a.dolorosa info of it being phantom pain now... my doc hasnt even done that... probly knew all along.
I messaged you but need to say again DONT LET THAT DOC CUT YOUR NERVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! has he even mentioned neuro stim to you? if not he cant be that great of a t.n. doc to not offer or consider Neuro Stim and just decide to cut nerve . Think TWICE or Five times before you allow your nerve to be cut...PLEASE!!!!!!
You have so many prayers and thoughts from me right now.
Peace Peace
