Default MVD surgery

My 30 yr old daughter will be having MVD surgery this Tuesday. I would love to hear from those that have undergone this sugery. what your results were and what to expect from this? this has been a long hard road and hope and pray this works for her.

You might want to read the post MVD surgery diary at the top of this forum. Ella wrote about her surgery experience.

I had one about 3 and a half years ago. I'd tried medications which worked for awhile and I had tried two of the outpatient surgeries. One worked for several years and the other different procedure only worked for a few weeks. So I finally had the MVD. I was in the hospital for several days and had some bad headaches that continued when I went home. And i was very tired for a week or so. I tapered slowly off the medications I had been on. I have been fine ever since. I worry about the pain returning and sometimes I have some very minor soreness in the area of the surgeries.

I hope all goes well for your daughter and that she is pain free when it is over.
