The party was great, but I definitely can't keep up with the big boys anymore. Luckily everyone one gone by 10 pm.

Sorry I haven't been on lately. My daughter's wedding is in 4 weeks and there has been lots to do. No depression anymore. I think it was just from dealing with the pain. The last couple days have been really good.

Pain free thoughts coming your way!!

Cheryl,
I'm doing much better thank you. I think I will be stopping the Neurontin completely tomorrow. It seems to take me about 2 weeks to feel normal again after a decrease. The party was so much fun. I even had some old high school friends stop by.

I'm also pleased to say that when I saw my surgeon he told me this numbness can take up to two years to go away. I will continue to have faith that I will be one of the lucky ones. I will try to check in sooner. With my daughter's wedding coming up it's been more difficult.

Sending pain free thoughts
Tracy

Hi everybody! It's been a long time since I've been on the site. After having about 3 months of feeling almost pain free after my MVD my pain returned. I'm currently on more gabapentin than before my surgery and just started baclofen again on Thursday. I'm feeling extremely frustrated. It's beginning to affect my quality of life again. Has anybody experienced this before? My surgeon keeps telling me he thinks it will get better because I'm still suffering from numbness. I was almost off all my meds and feeling like my brain was normal again. No more forgetfulness or memory loss and that's back now too due to the meds. Does anybody know how long it can take for this nerve to heal? I'm really at my wits end. Going from pain free to this again sometimes feels like more than I can take. Any thoughts or advice would be really helpful. Thanks!!
