Default Atypical Trigeminal Neuralgia - Burning Eye and Teeth Pain

Hello All,
I am new to the site and this is my first post. I have been suffering from intense burning pain in and behind my right eye for 6 months now. It started after some tea tree oil got in my eye and dried it out.
After a couple of weeks, this turned into a constant burning pain. Ive been to several ophthalmologists, including a neuro-opthalmologist and a cornea specialist, who say my eye appears pretty much normal overall. Ive tried steroid eye drops, and been religiously using artificial tears, including autologous serum eye drops. Still I have constant burning pain in my right eye.
I have also started experiencing more burning pain in my upper from teeth and gums on my right side as well, where Ive had several root canals and abscess tooth/gum surgery. Since no eye doc has been able to help me, and aren't even sure what could possibly be causing this discomfort, Ive gone to a neurologist.
The neurologist started be on carbamazepine 200 mg 2x daily, along with Baclofen. Its only been a couple of days. Hopefully I get some relief soon.
Has anyone else had any similar experiences or symptoms? I'm still not sure if I have corneal neuropathy, some invisible eye injury from the tea tree oil, or atypical trigeminal neuralgia that was triggered around the same time as the tea tree oil got in my eye.
Thank you for your responses!

I have something similar. Burning in the eye. Face pain underneath that eye all the way down to the jaw and throat. I didn't bother to go back to the neuro, but it seems like atypical face pain.
