Thumbs up darn, I dod a code

Head stuffed with wool and twingy besides, terrific combination. Sniffle and sneeze, sneeze and snuffle. I don't know which is worse, lying down or sitting up, can't actually think in either position and I've already forgotten which pills I've taken this morning - should have refilled my 7 day pill box yesterday but I was out at a meeting all day and by the time I got home I think my brain was only working on half speed. Do any of you worry about taking double doses of stuff? I actually fret more about that than I do about missing a dose. And what a lot of stuff I had scheduled for today! Not gonna happen, for one thing anyone with half a wit would run the minute I came through the door, aren't we lucky that we can't include the infectious particles along with the posts? I'll take a nice sterile hug though, after all, it's the thought that counts - that's what Hallmark makes a fortune on anyhow. And it will have to do, until they call all the tn patients in and give them the first inoculations against common colds. Achoo. Nancy

Nancy, I share your misery! Only thing is I've got a stupid sinus infection that won't go away. I've got 2 more weeks of the big A's and if this doesn't kick it, its off to the ENT!

I'm so tired of my sinus bleeding and being stuffed up with swollen eyes all the time! I wish I could throw some magic dust over us both and we'd be all better!

Big hugs to you! Hang in there and be well!
Ellena

Awwww Nancy sorry to see you've got a cold, what you need is a nice hot lemonade with honey, it soothes a sore throat and cough.
I hope it soon shifts, looks like were at the time of year when all the colds and flu start hitting us, do you get a flu jab there? mind you going by the cost of meds there, you would need a bank loan to pay for one!!

I'm still shocked at the price of Trileptal there.
On the subject of double meds, I haven't taken a double dose of Trileptal, but I did a couple of times take double Tegretol and the result of doing so was projectile vomiting within 20 mins or so, not nice.

I used to set my alarm to take my meds, but now I take them with my first cup of tea of the day, and my last drink before bed.

I hope your soon feeling better.
Oh and Lauren said she hasn't forgotten to email you, she will do, she has had lots of homework since starting her new school.

Take care and wrap up warm!
Love Tracy x

Hi Nancy,

I think last time you posted, before the crash, you were struggling with whooping cough. You were always in the back on my mind and a few times Ella and I sent our regards though Jean. I am sorry to hear you are under the weather again. Be sure to take care of yourself - get lots of rest and drink lots of fluids. A cold should be a lot easier to deal with than that horribe WC! Feel better and keep us posted.

Kathy

Sending you big hugs Nancy -and some Reiki! I do hope you get better really soon. I wish I could get my hands on you - Bowen Therapy (I'm a practitioner) is VERY good for knocking colds on the head!!!

I worry about double doses! Never knowingly done it. Have missed doses though.

I use my mobile phone to tell me when to take the drugs - the calendar lets you set reminders for ever - so I live my life by this!! I'd be in big trouble otherwise.

Nancy - maybe a course of echinaccia wouldn't go amiss? That'll boost your immune system. We all know TN gets worse when we have some other illness!

huge hugs
