Greetings.
On March 26, 2024 I had surgical decompression, after suffering with a severe TN since 2018 and trying every other therapy. Now, a month later, the pain is still there. I am still taking oxcarbazepine (450mg X 3 times a day) but is not longer helping as it use to do. The neurosurgeon who operated me tells me that the nerve has to heal and I have to be patient because it takes time. Meanwhile I have been taking corticosteroid to help healing the inflammation. The cause of the pain has been removed, but how long is it going to take for the pain to be gone? Do you have any feedbaks? Thank you. |
