Default Herbal and Metabolic disorders

Ok a couple of questions for you all. Do you know or use any herbal remedies for your TN? AND Have you ever heard of any disorder that would affect the trigeminal nerve and your metabolic capibilities? We just got a letter from a doctor at the local childrens hospital that he is willing to look into it for us. What do you think? Thanks
