Angry just a rant

I have been tryin to get in to see doc for a bit now and had to have old doc refer me to another doc. soo been waiting waiting to hear back... meanwhile I been going to work . lately the weather on the coast here has been a windy rainy hell for me, today I didnt even finish work I just told bosses I give notice and came home. worked called and told me not to worry about the 2 weeks to not worry about comin back . They will accpet things as if i had given notice and also give good referal for me.
so I dont work anymore and I already feel useless and sad . I hope that dosent last long . back to the doc thing after work called , I called the doc to see if they sent referal ... glad I called cus a no brainer that they did not.
but were doing so now that I called. So in a bit I will call new doc and pray pray pray he will agree to see me. and we have insurance up ying yang too ha you know docs dont want anything to do with me and I know I am not alone in that circus tent. all I want is a battery check and to ask about battries and my jaw tremor thing. I wish the day was over cus it isnt a good one today and yesterday i was feelin so luck funny on me.. I just hope the new doc will have me and I can find another type of work soon.

Default Giving notice!

There's something very liberating about 'giving notice and walking out' of a job when is becoming too much.

I did that three years ago when I had some other health issues and severe plantar fasciitis. It came to a head one evening when I was on an afternoon shift and I had to do a compulsory personal annual work/goals appraisal. It was about 10.30pm and the person doing the appraisal with me started going though the questions.

All I could think of at that point was; my main goal is to come to work, do my job competently, get through the shift without killing anyone and get home. When she started on about stating the three goals that I wanted to achieve in the next year blah, blah and how I would achieve those goals....I simply said " there's no need for us to go through this, I'm resigning as from now" she looked shocked and said to me "oh I suppose we don't have to do this then" - duh!!!

I came home and told my DH who was a little shocked but not surprised, as each time I worked he would have to come out to the car when I got home and help me in, as I could barely walk. I didn't even have to work out my notice either, as by the next time I was next rostered on I had a splint on my leg and they wouldn't allow me back for safety reasons. A month or so later they gave me a farewell afternoon tea and gifts, which was very nice!!

Well had apt. with new pain doc.
who promptly said NO he will not work on my neuro stim. it is a blue moon kind of thing he said. and I thought it was just those lovely neuro docs...
but I kept on keeping on and got another apt with diffrent new doc
going to reprogram with a medtronics team. and if that fails to help then we consult for surgery to repositon the leads. I dont like that last idea in the least tiny way. I dont want anyone messing with my leads!!!
They cant make me have surgery can they ? they cant take this out of me unless I agree correct??!! say like I went to have them repositioned and then I woke up to find I have no stim unit anymore that they took it out instead of fixing the leads ???!! they cant rip something out of ya when you are in the sleepy with out you agreeing before hand yet i bet it has happened ! I cant even find any posts of Ks. . . in the land of the lost guess I should go ...they say seek and ye shall find so off I go.
Peace

Wink Hobbies can keep your mind preoccupied, even very small ones.

I collect dolls by Ashton-Drake. I don't have to go out of the house
to do this. I always look forward to a box at the back door when UPS
brings a new one. This is silly but I look forward to a People magazine
on Friday. Just little things can keep you going. I watch my dogs play.
Our blind Golden Retrievers romp around the front portch. We keep
them in a area that is safe for them. I also watch movies or Court TV.
I watch Forensic files and Investigative reports on MSNBC. Any way
I do keep my mind occupied. I see a great Phychoigist once a month
to cope with all thats happened to me.He wants me to call a friend
I use to be close to but I have pretty well isolated myself from the
rest of the world. When I got involved with NeuroTalk recently was
the first time I have corespondad (sp) with any other people in 5 yrs.
Hugs,

OOO my gosh BMW, how awful it is when supervisors and bosses don't understand the pain and hell we all go thru trying to WORK with TN. I remem. being made fun of yrs ago when I was at my worst pain level and trying to work at a fast food place. Supervisors would say such as "OOO that's right, you can't work the drive thru cause it's too cold for the little girls face"...or they'd say "you sure you're in pain, you seem perfectly normal to me, you don't look pale or 'sick' ". I too could be considered "walking out" of the job...when I went to write my meal on the employee list one day, I discover that someone had already written the word "DRUGS" beside my name!! After bawling all the way home, telling my husb. of how it had upset me..he called them. Come to fine out it was the store MANAGER that had done it "as a joke". Since when is any sort of pain or having to take medication a joke????? Needless to say, that was my last day of work.
Girl, I have a pic. I should send you of about 15 ducks all in a row sitting on the same tree that had fallen into the lake!! Talk about "having your ducks in a row" !!! ha ha
