Stewart how sad to know you have "The Pain" but glad you have found this place and also I am sure you will find the stickies at the top here very helpful there is one about M.V.D. and others that have excellent info and links, all are priceless in the help they lend.
Hope you do not mind me asking some ???s
Do you see a pain management doctor? are you on any meds? do you know how you got this face pain...Injury, sinus infection ,teeth work...? I guess I am asking for a bit of basic back ground introduction but only fair to give mine first.
I was in accident1999... my auto vs a semi and my face pain began then with broken lower jaw and then the plates holding it together. My nerve is snapped and after all the different meds failed to help I was implanted with a neuro stimulator as other operations like gamma or m.v.d. would leave more damage. I am one of the extream cases I guess. and if I can help by listening or pointing you in the right direction , answering questions or just sharing the pain in general do not hesitate to holler my way or private message me when every you need. I do not know if you have any questions but there is a awesome crew of people here that will help you and it is a good feeling to know you are not alone even if the rest of the world makes you feel that way at times.
I hope to hear back from you when you have the chance. All of the best,
Peace and Many low pain wishes for you.

Not sure that anything physical started it. Had a very serious car crash 40 years ago - but surely that can't be it? I'm on tegretol and seeing a chiropractor/acupuncturist.
Peace

ha I dont think it would take 40 years for t.n. to come about from a crash. nothing to laugh at I know except the 40 years. at least you are on a med that is for t.n. and seem to be on the right track. I myself am not into chrios and find healing touch better for me. T.Y. for posting back. hang in there and have a warm enjoyable weekend.
Peace
