Just thought I would post a note to let you know I'm having another MVD done on Monday, Nov. 13th. As many of you know, I had an unsuccessful Gamma Knife done in February and an MVD done in May. The pain has come back, and my meds are not controlling it. The surgeon feel my best chance to be painfree is another MVD to see if they missed something or if the Teflon slipped or if they just need to get more agressive with the nerve. I'm trying to keep busy so I don't think about it and get anymore stressed out than I am. As you can imagine, I'm feeling scared and worried. I feel like my body has been through so much this year. I hope the New Year will bring better health to all of us. I'll post as soon as I'm home and feeling up to getting on the computer. Sheila

I REALLY pray things work great and the m.v.d. is the thing that works for you to find controll and relief . post when you are able you will be in my thoughts and prayers.now till well after the 13th.

well your time is getting near to be ...tomorrow is almost here . I do hope all goes well and this is the relief that Trig. nerve needs so you can have some controll and some normal life back. Be saying an extra prayer for you tonight. ((( YOU))) . Get a good nights sleep .

Sheila (Rudy's Mom) is having her second MVD this morning at 11:30. Her friend Barb is going to e-mail me when Sheila is out of surgery. Barb gets home from work after four in the afternoon, so it might be a while before I hear from her. I will let you all know as soon as I hear from Barb.

oh you are a great pal to be in touch and passing some news and updates around to us. I know Sheila is lucky to have a pal like you. of corse the good positive thinking and prayers wont stop . not from little ol me anyhow.

Hi Everybody:

I just got an e-mail from Sheila's friend Barb and she said the surgery has been postponed to about 5:30 PM today and it is 5:17 as I type this so she will go in soon. It will take till 9:30 or 10 this evening Barb said. She didn't say why it was postponed. I will post just as soon as I know anything further. Please keep the prayers coming. Thanks.

well you should be right in the middle of the surgery its 8;30 east coast time.
I do so pray the Doctor is doing all the right things and when its all done you are better then you have been in a long time. Take your time resting and healing. You have lots in your corner sending olny positive wishes ... I hope the best of them are reaching you right now.

Hi everyone:

An e-mail from Sheila's friend Jean C. saying that Sheila is out of surgery, doing well, and that the doctor thinks that this time it will work for her. I will update when I get further e-mails. I hope that we all can continue our prayers that Sheila will be pain free - she has gone through a lot this year with three surgeries!
