When after doing the rounds of dentists, physiotherapists, a cranio facial surgeon and finally a doctor who diagnosed the problem, I didn't know whether to be relieved for knowing what the problem was or terrified knowing the implications of this illness. My doctor is also a highly skilled acupuncturist and a homepath. He started treatment using both these methods. The pain increased after the first treatment which is a good sign he said. It gradually lessened by the second treatment but once again flared up although not to the same extent. Again it reduced this time to a very manageable level and I was able to stop the strong pain medication.

Duffy, I am very glad that you have found relief. I hope it is true relief and not just a remission which is very normal with TN.
I have tried numberous times, acupuncture, acupressure and eletric pulse acupuncture. Sadly they did not help my TN pain at all. I am however glad to hear you have found relief! ![]()
