Default Here we go again!!!

I have been on OxyContin for the last year and a half and then the company that owns it, Perdue, sued all the companies that were making a generic of Oxy. Now, I am left with having to not only pay a higher cost for the med but now have decided to try a new med. So, my doctor gave me Methadone and now after three days I woke up at 2:30am with severe itching all over and insomnia. I got a hold of the doctors office at 11 am and didn't hear anything back from them. So, I called them back at 3pm and the Medical Assistant stated that she never got a message from me!!!! AAAGHHH!?!?! She called me back in 15 minutes and told me to take Benadryl and come to the office to get another Rx. Luckily I already took Benadryl. So, here I go again waiting at home all day and then frantically running around town to make sure I don't have pain! This is soooooooo frustrating, I know you all can probably relate to this at one time or another!

Wishing you all a pain free day!

hang strong ... sounds like you are on the "merry -go- round ". sorry that you had a reaction to the Methadone. and are flying all over trying to find controll for the pain . It is frustrating and very stressfull. try to relax and de-stress if you can. I hope you are feeling better and in less pain right now.
peace

Thank you, I am feeling MUCH better today! No new side effects to the new med, MS Contin 15mg x 2 a day. It seems more similar to the OxyConyin (10mg x 2 a day) I was taking earlier. Thank you for your support!!!!
