Default its been a while

Hello all,

its been a while since i logged in last, hope everyone is as well as can be, i havent been too good lately thats why im logging in i have changed meds again im on valproate still 500mg in the morn and 900 mg at night i am also taking duloxetine in the morning 60mg amd i am taking seroquel at night im not using them for there actual purposes i am using them for the pain relief has anyone else tried these? i still have the same symptoms as usual just the pain is getting worse! for those of u that dont know me i suffer from bilateral tn and occiptical tn and i get pins and needles and a burning sensation in my forhead i also have hemi facial spasms as well! on the good side of the i had a great end to last year my older sisiter got married and i have another great year to look forward to as well my lilltle brother is getting married this november and its my sisiters 30th as well!

I had what I believe to have been hemifacial spasm on my right side (doctors were pretty out to lunch trying to give an answer to that one at the time). I too am bi-laterally affected by TN, but my most severe TN pain occurs on the left side. I also get the burning crud and I find Clonazepam is my wonder drug to cool that down.
Lots of marriages in the family! Sorry to hear you haven't been doing well. Hope the change in medications helps you.

my left side is also my worse side, i just feel like a guniea pig at the moment trying all these meds to try and get some relief it seems as though meds work for a little while i still get bad days but the meds seem to stop working as well after a while if that makes sense?
