Hi, I hope it's ok to ask for recommendations?
Anyway, I used to go to the health food store and buy vitamins but I always run out because I'm still in denial about being able to *get* out.

I noticed some recommended Puritans Pride for B12 but someone else had a problem with them.

Could I please get some more feedback on *where* to buy vitamins on-line, specifically for PN.

Or if it is preferred that I do a search on here, could someone please tell me the right search words. I'm terrible at searching and feeling too poorly to trust my brain or read a zillion posts that aren't relevant.

The "problem" on the other thread was very specialized for gluten intolerant people. It does not pertain to the others who would use Puritan's.

I use Puritans myself, but not for everything.
I use iherb.com for most of my unusual things. Some of Puritan's is not so much of a sale everyday, so you have to be careful and check prices elsewhere on what you choose.

I also use SAM's club and Costco.

There are several discount online places now that sell brand name vitamins. At one time only iherb and Puritan's were common.

I tend to like iherb best because of the huge selection, very low shipping (often free if over $60.00) and very low prices compared to local stores. I've never had a problem, in 8 yrs with them. They just get better and better IMO.

--depending on sales/discounts, among iherb, Vitacost, and Swanson Vitamins, all of which carry the "brand" name vitamins and also have their own proprietary brands.

I use mainly iherb as they stock the brands we prefer (NOW & Jarrow) at lowest price and low shipping too

I do also keep an eye on the Vitamin Shoppe prices as sometimes they have specials and I can get some stuff well priced from my local one
(i dont ever buy their own brand only because they use too many "fillers" IMO )

I recently started using Swanson's and I watch for their free shipping promotions and buy one get one offers. They have good prices and good quality from what I've seen so far. I take a lot of supplements so I've received three boxes from them in as many months. I tend to stock up when there are sales.

Ok then. This will give me plenty to go on. I was kind of surprised no-one said Amazon! I will check these out and see if I can get some for PN related problems.

Amazon does offer things. But they use others to supply them usually so you are really buying from someone else basically.

Those of us here tend to use certain companies with a long history of quality. Like Chemar stated.

Some good ones are NOW, SourceNaturals, Doctor's Best, Jarrow. They follow GMP guidelines and are careful. NOW has a website, check it out.
Doctor's best is good, but some of their products have Bioperine added, and this additive may interfere with RX drugs you may be taking. So post or PM to me if you decide to use that one type.

I follow the studies, carefully and tend to recommend affordable quality. Some places on the net are inflated, and make inflated claims. Don't be lured into those. You can always PM me if you have specific questions.
