Hi All, (and especially Mrs. D).

Alan and I have been using the iherb Methyl B-12. We then saw the ad for Puritans Pride and the price was so good who could pass it up?

We bought the 5 bottles, and the other day, Alan opened up the first one, and did the B-12 sublingual thing.

Now this pill LOOKS NOTHING LIKE THE IHERB PILL. It's a tiny pill. Looks the same size as my Enalipril.

Alan asked me "how can this be 5000 of the Methyl B-12?," go and find the Iherb one, and compare it".

So I did. "Both bottles say 5000 mcgs but the size is WAY DIFFERENT.

Alan is wondering if they do indeed put 5000 of Methyl B-12 in this little pill.

Is this possible?

Yes, it is possible. 5mg is a very small amount. Given the weight of B12 it is probably the size of 2 sugar grains, and the rest is filler.

Some sublinguals are "dots"...and quite hard. Is yours hard?

I'd chew it up and swallow with some water on an empty stomach with no food for 1 hr after.

Hi, I just asked Alan (he's the one who has tried it). He said "no it was soft".

So there we have it.
