Default Using Mucuna Pruriens. Hyperbaric Oxygen and less Sinemet

Hi I have been using mucuna pruriens as a supplement with sinemet since January 2010. Been taking one 350 mg capsule with each dose of sinemt (I
take l50 mg 3x daily). I have had Parkinson's for 11 years and I have tried
to use as little medicine as possible. However I was getting worse in January
since the medicine was wearing off after 3 hours. So mucuna has helped ex-
tend time half hour. I also took 40 hyperbaric oxygen treatments which I believe helped a lot. On June 1st I cut back Sinemet a half a tablet for AM
dose and at noon. My body has adjusted well altho I have slow times and
have to tell myself to pick up my feet and stand up straight. My question is how slowly do i proceed and what else should I be doing? I do take a "green"
multivitamin drink several times a week and use fish oil as well.

Welcome to NeuroTalk. I think the best answers for you will come from those who know about mucuna and use it successfully.

Here is their forum: Parkinson's

If you type mucuna into the search feature at the upper right of the forum index there you will find many posts about it.
One poster is even growing her own!

These are two examples of a search that yielded 177 entries:

reverett there is very well versed in supplements for PD.

If you would like me to "copy" your post over there, just say the word.
