Default Please help...Need advice

I've read on different postings that people have gotten better with the use of supplements but nobody seems to have given a time frame. Can someone tell me how long has it taken people to get results? I really need an answer to this. My doctor wants to implant a pain pump and I'm against it and want to try sticking with supplements but so far it seems so slow, with constant ups and downs. Can anyone give me advice on this? Thank you.

Choosing supplements depends on some conditions of your problem.

So could you please give more details? Age, gender, type of illness, progression, drugs used now and in the past, etc. Your diet is important, and if you don't eat "whole foods" you might be low in some minerals, like magnesium. Some drugs actually deplete nutrients so a drug history is very important too.

Some can be tested for, and the two most common deficiencies are Vitamin B12 and Vit D. So getting tested at the doctor and bringing those numbers back here would be helpful. Don't rely on comments from any doctor that say "normal"...because many times old ranges are used and in fact people are NOT normal at all.
