Default Folic Acid Maximum Dose?

Helloooo again!

So I'm on this multivitamin (one a day) that has 400mg folic acid in it and a little b12. I take 1000mcg methylcobalamin everyday anyway and used to take 800mg metafolin with the methylcobalamin. Can I do that and safely take the multivitamin too (that would be 1200mg folic acid in total) or would that be way too much?

I looked online but couldn't find much info and my doctor didn't know, so I thought it couldn't hurt to ask here once more!

Ziggy
