Default Recovering from Post Concussion Syndrome--Need advice on Supplements

I suffered a traumatic brain injury in March of this year and have been suffering from Post Concussion Syndrome since then. I typically just take a mutlivitamin for women and a calcium/vit d/vit k supplement.

Although I'm on Amantadine to help clear some of the fog,and sleep medications to make sure I get the sleep I need, I am exhausted ALL the time and as the day goes on, my brain starts moving really slow and I become very forgetful and foggy.

I would like to see what upping my B vitamins would do for my energy levels, however I have no idea where to start or what amounts of them to try? Also, is DHA a good idea? If so, what kind of supplement should I take for that?

You advice is appreciated it advance

I think the best place to discuss supplements for concussion recovery is the TBI forum here. There are members there who have found success with some things and not others, for example.

http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forum92.html

Under the page #'s listing is a search function. Type in supplements and see all the threads and discussion.

I can't do that for you as any search another person does, will not remain active as a link in another post. So you will have to do that search yourself. There are alot of posts there, -- I found 136 of them just now.

Thanks so much for your help!!

I had tried searching yesterday, but I guess I was searching all the forums, not just the TBI one. I found some useful information once I was only searching the TBI forum!
