Question My Dear Mrs. D,

I would like your opinion on some natural ingredients that are listed in a new product I have decided to take. I want to know if any of them would cause more burning and pain to my idiopathic neuropathy. The product is "Zyflamend PM" and the ingredients are:

Holy Basil
Turmeric
Balkal Scullcap
Melissa Leaf
Chamomile
Hopa
Ginger
Valerian

This product is heavily promoted as an herbal anti-inflammatory.
Turmeric is not well absorbed as a herb without enhancing
substances or modification.

That product is pretty expensive for what you get.

But it gets lots of advertising etc.. PM you know means nighttime.
It has sedatives in it.

Some people react to ginger and curry (turmeric) with burning.
This product is promoted mostly for arthritis etc.

I am not a big fan of herbs...since many interact with RX drugs.
You should look them up in a drug checker with your medications to make sure there are no contraindications.
