Default Lost My Thread

I posted a very long thread to mrsd as well as others. also asked questions about forum use. When I pushed the submit button it said you are not logged on. I was positively logged on when I started.
My hands are aching so badly that I cna't type anymore.
Has this happened to anyone else?
I am so frustrated as it took me so long to type it and I LOST IT.

Yes, this has also happened to me before. There may be some sort of inactivity timeout (possibly a default setting). If I have a long post, I usually type it in a word processor (like MS Word) first so I don’t lose anything (I’m assuming you have a word processor) and then paste it into the vBulletin editor. This is a little more trouble, but it saves losing everything you typed, especially if it is a long post! I have also had another issue with the vBulletin editor (chops off the last part of the post). I’m working with the admins on this now.

Hi sydney.
you might try writing your posts in Word and saving it on your computer, then copy and paste it to post it here.
I've seen that suggestion from others.

sorry your still having some computer problems.

do you have a friend that could go thru and check your settings on the computer?
maybe something is timing out?

Red face yes, it happens to me...

in PM function...if it is a long PM.

I also got kicked on each page from a friend's computer which has
IE and AOL, about 2 weeks ago.

But lately I am not having problems.
